I woke up at 5am wanting to shoot sunrise at The Walton Lighthouse in Santa Cruz. On my way to the coast I encountered so much fog that I debated whether I should turn back, head home, and go back to sleep! I kept on driving and decided to take a chance and hit the coast anyway. As soon as I got there I knew that the fog was not as thick as I had expected it to be because I saw a few stars in the sky. Long story short, I am so glad that I stuck around! The sky was so colorful and the storm clouds added to the brilliance. Enjoy a few of my favorite shots of the morning.
